Technical Business Analyst - Data Platform Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join our team and support critical operations across process improvement, data platform engineering, automation, cost management, and infrastructure operations.

This role will contribute to the customer's strategic vision of expanding EDP data entitlement to 82% by providing expert analysis and recommendations for process improvements, data platform enhancements, and automation initiatives.

  • Data Analysis and Business Intelligence: Utilize advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Cloud Operations: Leverage hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and FinOps practices to optimize cloud resource utilization, manage costs, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving and Communication: Employ strong analytical problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and communicate solutions effectively to cross-functional teams.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Develop expertise in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Quicksight, or similar to create interactive dashboards and reports that facilitate business decision-making.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring and Cost Optimization: Apply understanding of infrastructure monitoring and cost optimization principles to ensure efficient resource allocation and minimize waste.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and cloud operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and FinOps practices.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of infrastructure monitoring and cost optimization principles.
