Interior Design Sales Role

About the Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and client-facing Interior Designer with sales expertise to take on this exciting opportunity. This role combines creative design skills with business acumen, requiring a unique blend of artistic vision and commercial awareness.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling design proposals, estimating project costs, and converting leads into clients. You will serve as the front face for all design-related client interactions, necessitating confidence, professionalism, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop customized design proposals for pitch meetings, aligning with client preferences and project scope.
  2. Create accurate project estimates based on approved design proposals.
  3. Negotiate with clients to drive project closures.
  4. Present yourself confidently and professionally in client design meetings.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless design and execution.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in interior design and client-facing sales roles.
  • Proven ability to prepare design proposals, estimates, and client presentations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high-value projects.
  • Knowledge of interior design trends, materials, and execution processes.
