Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer Job

Join a top100 global semiconductor organization to lead the development of analog mixed-signal ICs and drive innovation in precision timing solutions.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to own the top-level design and architecture of our programmable MEMS solutions. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for supervising block designers, reviewing designs, and collaborating with digital design engineers, CAD teams, and applications teams to ensure DFT and DFM features.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking analog-mixed signal parts to high-volume production, with expertise in circuit architecture development, technical feasibility studies, detailed block-level specifications, and simulation of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of analog mixed-signal ICs and own the top-level design and architecture
  • Supervise and review block designer work and hold design reviews
  • Closely work with cross-functional teams for bench validation, qualification, and final test development
  • Develop analog and mixed-signal architectures and circuits in CMOS or BiCMOS processes
  • Analyze technology, architecture, circuit design, and parametric design trade-offs to meet aggressive technical performance specifications
  • Perform transistor-level design and simulation using industry-leading EDA tools
  • Lead comprehensive design reviews and supervise Analog Circuit Physical Design Layout and edit layouts

Requirements:

  • MTech/M.S. with minimum 10 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with 6 years of Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven track record of taking at least one analog-mixed signal part to high-volume production
  • Expertise in circuit architecture development, technical feasibility studies, detailed block-level specifications, and simulation of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits
  • Proficiency with EDA tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, Mixed-mode AMS tools, Layout XL
  • Extensive knowledge of layout effects for circuit and layout design
