Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading the development of analog mixed-signal ICs and overseeing top-level design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in analog mixed-signal design. You will be proficient in using industry-leading EDA tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre, and have extensive knowledge of layout effects for circuit and layout design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of analog mixed-signal ICs and oversee top-level design
  • Supervise and review block designer work and hold design reviews
  • Work with cross-functional teams to architect the chip for DFT and ensure DFM features
  • Closely work and support cross-functional teams for bench validation, qualification, and final test development
  • Develop analog and mixed-signal architectures and circuits in CMOS or BiCMOS processes
  • Analyze technology, architecture, circuit design, and parametric design trade-offs to meet aggressive technical performance specifications
  • Perform transistor-level design and simulation using industry-leading EDA tools
  • Lead comprehensive design reviews and supervise Analog Circuit Physical Design Layout and edit layouts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MTech/M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. with 6 years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of taking at least one analog-mixed signal part to high-volume production
  • Extensive knowledge of EDA tools, including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, Mixed-mode AMS tools, and Layout XL
  • Ability to supervise layout designers and perform post-layout extraction and verifications
  • Experience with validation, characterization, qualification, and adherence to production release criteria
