Financial Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support complex financial operations for clients with knowledge of the business and economic environment to optimize processes.
  • Coordinate timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in line with relevant requirements.
  • Deliver timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analyses through liaison with external auditors.
  • Supervise open and overdue items, communicating with staff accordingly.
  • Review reports generated by account executives to validate data and provide input.
  • Resolve sophisticated issues faced.
  • Prepare documents and adjustments for close periods.
  • Provide customers with understanding of general ledger and group reporting.
  • Liaise with internal teams for accurate ledger data entry.
  • Communicate with senior partners as required.

Key Challenges:

  • Ensure 100% accuracy and timeliness of reports in accordance to agreed service levels.
  • Develop understanding of customer organisation and business to deliver high quality service.
  • Manage team's day-to-day work and ensure vital skills are available.
  • Maintain high level of familiarity with systems to reconcile accounts receivable accurately.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and colleagues across geographical locations and time zones.
  • React quickly to evolving reporting requirements for fluid businesses.

  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make recommendations.
