Job Title: Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to oversee payroll processing, ensure statutory compliance, and enhance ERP payroll functionalities.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Avoid errors during monthly payroll cycles, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in execution
  • Maintain strict adherence to Indian tax and labor laws, including TDS, GST, EPF, ESI, and Professional Tax (PT)
  • Optimize HRIS/ERP payroll modules for efficiency and scalability
  • Generate and review payroll reports, ensuring accuracy in payouts and statutory filings
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Provide prompt responses to payroll-related queries with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes, automation, and compliance practices
  • Stay informed on changes in payroll legislation and industry trends, updating systems and processes

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Commerce, or related field
  • 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in Indian payroll processing and statutory compliance
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS/ERP payroll modules
  • Excellent understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements
  • Proficiency in payroll reconciliation, reporting, and process optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working with payroll-related software tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience in ERP product enhancements related to payroll modules
  • Exposure to payroll processing for multi-location or large-scale organizations
