Job Title: Strategic RPG Lead

As a highly skilled Senior/Lead RPG Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the IT team in high-level meetings and stakeholder engagements.
  • Perform thorough Quality Assurance & Testing tasks to ensure software excellence.
  • Efficiently resolve complex tickets within Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
  • Develop and continuously improve in-house software solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors or custom-built environments to drive project success.

Essential Skills:

  1. Technical Expertise: Strong background in AS400/RPG technologies, expertise in RPGLE, and proficiency in RPG Free formatting, including developing modules in JSON.
  2. Database Management: In-depth knowledge of SQL and SQLRPGLE skills.
  3. Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead teams from development and system support settings, fostering collaboration and driving results.
  4. Problem Solving & Ownership: Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and bias for action, delivering solutions that drive business value.
  5. Resolution & Efficiency: Resolve tickets efficiently while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
  6. Representation & Communication: Effective representation of the IT team in meetings, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  7. Quality Assurance & Testing: Thorough QA & Testing responsibilities, guaranteeing software quality and reliability.

  1. Experience with warehouse management systems, providing valuable insights into process optimization.
  2. Developing in-house software solutions, leveraging technical expertise to drive business growth.
  3. PMP and ITIL Certifications, demonstrating a commitment to industry best practices and ongoing professional development.
