Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Description
  • Lead and develop a team of sourcing and supplier quality engineers/managers to establish and implement sourcing strategies that achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and service improvement by leveraging common commodities between India and other PRM sites.
  • Prioritize projects, such as NPD, regionalization, localization, cost containment, and risk mitigation projects, and assign them to the right procurement team member. Drive projects to meet target completion dates.
  • Review suppliers' performance on lead time, service level, and quality performance. Initiate programs and projects to meet or exceed business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with critical/key suppliers to maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Orchestrate supplier training and development programs that require advancement.
  • Implement consistent and sustaining processes within the India site to optimize waste reduction and resource utilization.
  • Educate team members on the utilization of all Emerson's procurement systems, metrics, and reports.
  • Develop long-term strategies for major commodities through collaboration with supply chain directors and commodity leaders.
  • Establish a system to supervise material costs of key products and drive cost reductions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to achieve leadtime, on-time delivery, cost, and payment terms.
  • Identify and develop potential candidates for career progression programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of products sourcing experience in Die Casting, Sand Casting, Stamping, Machining, Springs, Investment Castings, Molded Rubber, Custom Molded Plastics, Valves in multinational companies.
  • Proven experience in managerial capacity in MNC with a consistent track record.
  • Possesses prior people management experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and project management skills.
  • Strong competencies such as accountability, committed, result-driven, plans & aligns, resourcefulness, builds effective team is a must.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001 Management Systems is preferred.
  • Good command of English (written/oral) and PC skills such as Excel and PowerPoint.
