Interior Design Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Interior Design Lead to shape the interior design of luxury homes.

This role is crucial in ensuring that every design, detail, and finish meets the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and functionality.

  • Design Leadership & Oversight:
    • Lead the design development process with external consultants and internal managers.
    • Ensure all design deliverables align with the luxury brand ethos.
    • Uphold the principle of zero compromise on design quality, aesthetic refinement, and functional integrity.
  • Consultant & Team Management:
    • Manage relationships with world-class interior design consultants, ensuring pace, accountability, and quality.
    • Build and mentor a strong internal team of design managers, providing structured guidance and review.
    • Delegate effectively while maintaining personal oversight on critical design checkpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with Sales to translate client aspirations into feasible design solutions.
    • Partner with Architectural, Construction, and Finishing teams to ensure on-ground execution matches design intent.
    • Resolve conflicts between aesthetics, timelines, and costs while protecting quality and design integrity.
  • Site Supervision & Execution Excellence:
    • Maintain an active presence on sites to oversee finishing and detailing.
    • Conduct meticulous snagging and quality checks to ensure flawless delivery.
    • Uphold standards of precision, with no tolerance for compromise on finish or function.
  • Commercial Awareness & Value Engineering:
    • Balance creativity with commercial sensibility—optimizing designs for cost without diluting the luxury experience.
    • Review BOQs, indents, and vendor submissions to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and design alignment.
  • Innovation & Future-Readiness:
    • Bring global best practices and innovative materials into projects.
    • Explore digital tools for visualization and moodboarding.
    • Reimagine processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining design purity.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in luxury residential interiors.
  • Proven success in managing external consultants and internal design teams.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing luxury projects with uncompromising detail and finish.

  • Precision in reviewing design documentation and execution drawings.
  • Exceptional aesthetic sensibility, with a strong eye for luxury detail.
