Electrical Test Engineer Position

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating electrical products through functional and operational tests, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IEC, UL, and NEMA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of electrical products to ensure they meet applicable standards.
  • Analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and product performance data.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve lab efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders on electrical testing and validation procedures.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and equipment to enhance testing capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging trends, and relevant standards to ensure ongoing expertise.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
