Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Expert to design, deploy, and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure containerized platform.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications and systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. As a Kubernetes Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a Kubernetes/Container platform that supports the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 7+ years of experience in OpenShift Engineering including some public cloud experience.
  • Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components, with hands-on experience in building and managing Kubernetes platforms in production environments.
  • End-to-end implementation of the Kubernetes architecture - installation, configuration, hardening, networking, etc.
  • Proficiency in a procedural or scripting programming language (examples: Python, Go).
  • Experienced with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles (examples: Github Actions, Concourse, ArgoCD, Jenkins).

Preferred Qualifications
  • TAS (Tanzu Application Service), Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AKS, NSX, NSX-T experience a plus
  • Demonstrated competency in a programming/scripting Language, with a strong preference for Go experience and Python.
  • Experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as code APIs using interface definition tools like Swagger.
