Engineering Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to drive strategy and execution of our platform organization. This role will oversee core infrastructure, developer experience, data platforms, and frontend frameworks powering large-scale SaaS products across global markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate a 12–18 month vision for the platform organization, aligning technical direction with business priorities.
  • Establish frameworks and shared component libraries to accelerate development in modern stacks, reducing friction for engineers by automating boilerplate and ensuring consistent quality.
  • Design and implement unified approaches for ingestion, governance, observability, and schema validation across multiple data stores, architecting and implementing data-residency models satisfying global regulations.
  • Lead ownership of Kubernetes clusters, networking, IaC, and cloud security, driving initiatives for resilience, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Champion robust CI/CD pipelines, progressive rollout practices, fault-injection testing, and end-to-end observability standards, ensuring developers can move fast without sacrificing reliability.
  • Partner with InfoSec and Legal teams to integrate controls for SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other regional frameworks, promoting 'shift-left' practices like automated scanning and policy-as-code.
  • Grow and mentor engineers across platform, infrastructure, and data domains, fostering a culture of trust, ownership, and inclusion while holding a high bar for technical excellence.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years leading platform, infrastructure, or SRE teams in high-scale SaaS environments.
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes and a major cloud provider (GCP preferred).
  • Strong technical grounding in TypeScript/Node.js, container orchestration, IaC, service meshes, and event-driven systems.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver multi-region or data-residency compliant architectures.
  • Track record of implementing CI/CD, observability, contract testing, and reliability practices.
  • Comfort working in regulated industries with SOC 2, HIPAA, or equivalent standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills; able to influence from C-suite conversations down to technical design reviews.
