Job Title: Senior System Administrator

This is a senior-level position responsible for the administration and maintenance of company's infrastructure, including Windows Server environments, Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V. The successful candidate will have a strong background in system administration, with experience in hybrid Active Directory environments, scripting languages such as PowerShell, and cloud services.

The ideal candidate will be able to configure, deploy, and maintain server environments, administer user support tickets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with application requirements and operational needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring and deploying Azure, AWS, and Hyper-V server environments
  • Administering and addressing user support tickets in accordance with ITIL principles
  • Configuring, deploying, and maintaining Active Directory services
  • Administering and maintaining Microsoft 365 services
  • Collaborating with the IT Security team to implement security best practices
  • Administering and maintaining regular backups and disaster recovery strategies
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of infrastructure services
  • Generating regular reports on server performance and security metrics
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, with a focus on Windows Server environments
  • MCSE or equivalent certification
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
