Automotive Safety and Calibration Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Safety and Calibration Expert to lead our safety and diagnostics projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in powertrain safety and diagnosis calibration, with a deep understanding of key industry standards, tools, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety and diagnosis calibration projects for powertrain systems (engine or transmission) ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct safety analysis using techniques like FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis).
  • Work with ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and have a strong understanding of diagnostic protocols such as OBD-II and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 8 years of experience in the powertrain (engine or transmission) safety and diagnosis calibration domain.
  • Strong expertise in ISO 26262, FMEA, and FTA.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and protocols (CANalyzer, INCA, OBD-II, UDS).
