Financial Accounting and Controlling Expert

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO professional to support our organization in implementing and maintaining its financial accounting and controlling systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring and supporting SAP FICO modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and Support SAP FICO Modules: Ensure that all SAP FICO modules are properly configured and supported, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
  • Design and Implement RAR Solutions: Design and implement solutions for SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Handle System Configuration and Testing: Handle system configuration, testing, and issue resolution for SAP FICO modules.
  • Support Financial Closing Processes: Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes by ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed on time.
  • Conduct User Training and Documentation: Conduct user training and documentation as needed to ensure that employees understand how to use the SAP FICO system effectively.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global environment to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in SAP Upgrades and Projects: Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and projects to ensure that our organization stays up-to-date with the latest technology.
Requirements:
  • Experience in SAP FICO Implementation: 7+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support.
  • Hands-on Experience in RAR: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP RAR.
  • Knowledge of Financial Processes: Strong knowledge of financial processes, including P2P, O2C, and Record to Report.
  • Integration Between FICO and Other SAP Modules: Experience with integration between FICO and other SAP modules, including SD and MM.
  • Understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606: Good understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills: Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.
