Infrastructure Development Specialist Job Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute civil infrastructure projects utilizing cutting-edge technology and design software.
  • Deliver site plans, grading plans, paving plans, improvement plans for roads and rails, storm water drainage details, erosion control plans, and other civil designs on time while adhering to client standards.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of site civil design best management practices and a wide range of formulas, principles, design basis, and best management practices to complete required packages.
  • Stay up-to-date with local municipal standards and design manuals to ensure timely project delivery at any stage.
  • Develop and maintain CAD proficiency and expertise in current CAD systems to enhance productivity.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with at least 6 years of experience in the field.
  • Proven track record of working on land development, site development, and master development projects from preliminary stages to detailed design stages.
  • Strong understanding of US project experience and local municipal or city standards is essential. Experience in other regions will be beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively use design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, HEC RAS, HEC HMS, HydroCAD, Storm Sanitary Analysis, Hydrapraph Extension, and other drainage design software.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Navisworks Manage and clash analysis is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of Site Civil Design, calculations, and design systems is required.
  • Able to work under supervision, deliver projects on time, and adhere to proper QA and QC procedures.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers in a multi-disciplined team environment.
  • Able to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to pay close attention to details and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Essential English written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
