Job Opportunity:

The position of Network Technical Resource is a unique chance to create and implement a structured documentation framework in Confluence for our network across multiple sites. The primary focus lies in establishing templates and organization for as-built diagrams, contact information, runbooks, and design guidelines.

This role involves working closely with the network team to gather existing data, convert designs into standardized templates, and train the team on maintaining and expanding the documentation.

  • Design and develop a structured conventions framework for documenting network details in Confluence, including site-specific as-built diagrams, contacts, and network configurations.
  • Create standardized templates for site documentation, runbooks, and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.
  • Convert existing network design data into Lucid templates aligned with the new structure.
  • Collaborate with the network team to gather data, understand site-specific details, and accurately represent the current network state.
  • Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites, serving as an example and training model for the team to follow for remaining and new sites.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure smooth adoption of the new documentation structure.
