At The Creek Boutique Resort & Spa, we are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team and play a key role in managing the financial health of our luxury resort.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, and auditing functions. With a strong background in accounting, ideally within the hospitality industry, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to support strategic goals and growth.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and financial forecasting to maintain liquidity and support operations.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Payroll Management: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including tax withholdings, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws.
  • Audit & Compliance: Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure regulatory requirements and internal controls are met.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain liquidity and support operations.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Partner with operational teams to oversee inventory and manage cost controls effectively.
Qualifications

We require 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a management role. Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred. Technical skills include proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Analytical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
