About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Trader to drive growth and expansion of a portfolio of petroleum products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage trading positions daily, ensuring compliance with our risk management framework.
  • Analyze market conditions, arbitrage opportunities, pricing structures, and regional flows to identify profitable trading strategies.
  • Grow our petroleum products trading desk by increasing volumes and geographic reach, optimizing logistics, and strengthening commercial networks.
  • Process quotations, sales enquiries, trade confirmations, and contractual documentation in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Develop short-term and long-term market forecasts, providing strategic advice to management on global distillates markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 12-18 years of experience in petroleum or commodity trading with a proven track record.
  • Strong knowledge of physical and paper trading, international shipping logistics, and refining economics.
