Financial Accountant Position Overview

This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. It requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules, ensuring accuracy and up-to-dateness.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and seamless communication.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives, driving efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
