Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of this Financial Analyst role is to thoroughly analyze capital structure data from public and private companies, utilizing financial reports and company press releases. This entails addressing ongoing client requests regarding capital structures, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

Key Functions:

  • Capital Structure Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of capital structure data to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions.
  • Client Support: Provide expert advice to clients on capital structure matters, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Quarterly Updates: Conduct quarterly reviews of capital structures for stressed and distressed companies, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these challenges.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including credit research, to ensure alignment on data interpretation and reporting.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis processes for enhanced efficiency, improving the overall quality of the service provided.

Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, accounting, or a related field is essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably with a focus on capital structures or fixed income data, is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
    • A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles, including financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement).
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • The ability to extract insights from complex financial transaction details.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
