IT Support Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to hardware and software.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide hands-on support for end-users on hardware and software issues, including desktop hardware, operating systems, network connectivity, and application issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues efficiently, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions.
  • Device Management: Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices, including PCs, laptops, printers, and other equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Infrastructure Administration: Administer infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 1-3 years of experience in Desktop/Server System Management and Administration.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and software applications.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and VPN solutions.
