Job Title:

Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience of 5+ years and work under minimal supervision to test ITSFI applications.

The SDET will work closely with business users, application build IT teams, and other IT teams within the project to meet WBG internal standards and guidelines for the said application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working experience on web automation tools like Selenium with Java/C#, and Playwright.
  • Native Windows applications automation expertise.
  • Designing automation framework knowledge.
  • Azure Test Plans and Azure DevOps proficiency.
  • Jmeter and SonarQube knowledge is a plus.
  • Good understanding of technology environment, such as Azure, Azure SQL, MSSQL.
  • Automating native applications (e.g. SAP) testing using TOSCA automation tool is a huge plus.

Requirements

  • Preferably certified by ISTQB.
  • Strong process analysis skills and ability to suggest improvements for efficiency and effectiveness of solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgmental skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate well with all stakeholders at all levels, technical as well as non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and management without supervision and to facilitate and navigate discussions with stakeholders to ensure clarity, prioritization, and consensus.
  • Leadership skills and ability to work well with diverse team members, often in multiple locations.
  • Ability to work with different points of view and lead the team to convergence, while always keeping the project objectives in sight.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent personal organization and ability to take things to closure without follow-ups.
