We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals.

As a Senior ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the ICU, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans

  • Monitoring and evaluating patient progress, responding promptly to any changes in their condition

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients

  • Supervising and supporting junior nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in critical care nursing through ongoing education and professional development

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent

A Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state or province of practice

A minimum of 5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on ICU settings

Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions in high-pressure situations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

BLS and ACLS certification

Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies
