Job Description

The Program Associate will support the team in the development of project documents, including reports, briefs, talking points, concept notes, and opinion articles. Additionally, they will assist in preparing internal and external presentations, event planning, and vendor coordination.

Research and documentation are essential skills for this role. The candidate will conduct regular research and analysis of news, trends, and developments relevant to project goals. They will also assist in drafting internal and external presentations, contributing to the development of communication materials, and supporting with drafting of analysis documents.

Day-to-day management involves assisting with internal communications and documentation, maintaining and curating project resources, activity calendars, and deliverables. Events and stakeholder outreach require drafting materials for expert engagement, preparing event-related documents, and performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, public health, social sciences, communication, or a related field
  • Master's degree is desirable
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in research, writing, design, or digital communication
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Strong design and layout skills; Canva or similar design tool
  • Experience developing content and visuals for social media platforms (especially X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram)
