Landscape Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture and experience working on residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive landscape designs for various projects, considering factors such as site conditions, climate, and client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardscape and softscape materials, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
  • Prepare detailed project plans, specifications, and cost estimates, communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site assessments, analyzing soil conditions, drainage, and other environmental factors to inform design decisions.
  • Present design concepts and progress updates to clients, adapting to their feedback and preferences.
  • Oversee the implementation of landscape designs, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience, preferably in landscape consultancy and real estate development.
  • Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape architectural design principles, horticulture, planting design, and sustainability practices.
  • Familiarity with local regulations, permits, and environmental norms.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on high-rise residential and commercial developments.
  • Knowledge of sustainable landscaping techniques and certifications (e.g., IGBC, LEED).
  • Passion for design innovation, environmental stewardship, and community-centric spaces.
