Job Description

The role of a Senior Model Validation Expert is to ensure the accuracy and reliability of models used in financial decision-making. This involves reviewing and testing models to identify any potential risks or biases, and working with model developers to implement changes as needed.

This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and analytical skills. The successful candidate will have experience with model risk management and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of experience in model risk management or a related field
  • Proven track record of strong technical model development or model validation
  • Knowledge of US regulatory requirements such as OCC and FRB SR 11-7
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing and leading a small team
