Job Summary:

Cloud Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT operations group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems and services.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the high availability, redundancy, and business continuity of our cloud deployments. This will involve working closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration with our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.
  • Application Deployment: Work with our development teams to deploy applications to the cloud, ensuring smooth integration and minimal downtime.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud-based systems and services, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor cloud system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency and streamline processes within our cloud environments.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess:
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including Azure and AWS.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python and PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
