Job Description

This role involves working closely with key clients to deliver major energy projects across Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will lead, deliver, and support engineers across large multidisciplinary energy projects with a focus on primary systems substation design and design review.

The ideal candidate will drive delivery and technical excellence, ensuring project teams deliver on the client promise. They will also identify and lead innovation by seeking and implementing new approaches that enhance our ability to meet client needs.

Requirements

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired:

  • Ideal 10 years' experience and proven understanding of consulting in substation projects, with experience in primary substation systems up to 500kV
  • Familiarity with complex energy projects and substation design standards, including HV substation design, protection schemes, and primary plant technologies
  • Proven background in partnering closely with clients to deliver remarkable projects
  • Approachable leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Local market knowledge of NEM and strong understanding of the energy market across Australia and/or New Zealand
