About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our bidding process for energy projects in the renewable energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global organisation where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models for project evaluation, risk assessment and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the bidding process for energy projects from concept to execution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for project evaluation, including cash flow projections and return on investment analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential opportunities and develop business strategies.
  • Conduct market research to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure timely completion, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders, including executive summaries and key findings.
  • Support the organisation's sustainability initiatives through strategic planning and implementation.

Requirements:

  • A strong educational background in Finance or a related field, such as Economics or Accounting.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Energy & Natural Resources sector, with a focus on renewable energy and sustainable development.
  • Exceptional financial modelling and bid management skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of the bidding process, including contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage diverse audiences and communicate complex information effectively.
  • A keen interest in renewable energy and sustainability, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results that align with organisational goals.
