Role Summary:
BMC Truesight Admins oversee the installation, upgrade, integration, administration, and configuration of TrueSight Operations Management, particularly with version 10.x and later.
They also install Patrol Agents on various operating systems, including Windows, RHEL, AIX, and Solaris. Additionally, they possess working knowledge of specific knowledge modules like DB, Websphere, Exchange, Sentry hardware, and Sentry monitoring studio, as well as basic KMs such as OS, LOG, and URL.
- Patrol Agent and TrueSight server component troubleshooting skills are essential for resolving technical issues.
- Proficiency in Event Management policy Administration and configuration is necessary for optimal system performance.
- Familiarity with MRLs and custom classes enhances overall understanding of the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Principle system administrators will lead the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the TrueSight platform.
- Develop expertise in relevant technologies to address evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and maximum return on investment.
