Job Description

About Our Team: Premier Energies is a leading solar cell and module manufacturer based in Telangana, India. We operate advanced facilities with 2 GW cell and 5.1 GW module capacity, and are expanding into TOPCon technology. Our 25-acre LEED Gold Certified plant reflects our commitment to quality and sustainability.

We have opportunities in the Cell Maintenance (Manufacturing) department at Fabcity. This full-time role will be based at our Corporate Office, Hyderabad.

Responsibilities:

  • We receive Bill of Material from Design Department and seek quotations from all vendors.
  • We create a cash flow plan to support the project, including constant updates of the cash flow plan and costs incurred on the project.
  • We prepare comparative quotations and put them up to management for decision.
  • We release purchase/work orders to vendors with appropriate payment terms and delivery conditions.
  • We follow up with the accounts team for release of advances and running payments to vendors as per terms.
  • We ensure timeliness of material delivery by regular follow up with vendors.
  • We follow up with vendors for material inspection upon readiness.
  • We follow up with vendors and transporters for delivery of material on time and in good condition.
  • We follow up with vendors for invoices.
  • We enter invoices into SAP.
  • We provide Weekly Financial Project Progress to the Management.
  • We maintain a database of vendors.
  • We insure all work, workers, and movement.
  • We support Tender/BD team in costing of upcoming projects/Tenders.
  • We work out various project requirements with respect to utilities, procurement activities and monitoring overall operations (Procurement & Logistics) for ensuring timely completion.
  • We monitor, implement & document procurement systems, managing commercial activities relating to contracts, equipment, and other related activities.
  • We liaise with the site project management to minimize the communication gap between the procurement department and the end users for timely expedition of the materials at respective project sites.
  • We deal with Vendors, Architects & Contractors, and monitor expenses with optimum utilization of resources.
  • We provide management reports and key performance data and manage relationships with existing and new suppliers.
  • We maintain proper Worksheets to be maintained in terms of payments against the orders placed and inventory management. These sheets should be updated daily.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A Graduate, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 7 to 10 years of experience in Procurement.

Awareness of products, functions, application parts and manufacturers.

Knowledge of manufacturing process & Raw-Material.

Good Negotiations and Analytical skills.

Knowledge of MS Office, SAP & Analytics.
