Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Superintendent to lead our vessel technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day technical maintenance of vessels to ensure seaworthiness and compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze performance reports, identify defects, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal vessel efficiency.
  • Monitor Preventative Maintenance Systems (PMS) compliance and propose improvements to databases and systems.
  • Maintain all certification and documentation up-to-date, liaise with classification societies and Flag authorities as necessary.
  • Coordinate procurement of spares and equipment with cost-effective options and plan dry-docking and repairs.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to onboard crew members and conduct regular physical inspections of vessels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or nautical science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work at sea.
