Technical Manager - Engineering

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and tune Java microservices, Kafka event pipelines, distributed caches, and cloud-native deployments (Kubernetes on AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Drive engineering excellence by establishing coding standards, automating CI/CD, and championing observability and SRE practices.
  • Lead and mentor senior engineers; facilitate architecture reviews and hands-on pair design.
  • Translate features into business impact by partnering with Product and Data teams to optimize conversion, retention, and unit economics.

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of production software experience, with 3+ years in a staff or tech-lead capacity.
  • Proven success delivering high-scale, low-latency systems in e-commerce, quick commerce, food-tech, fintech, or similar domains.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, SQL/NoSQL, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP.
  • Solid command of DDD, clean architecture, CAP trade-offs, chaos testing, cost optimization.
  • Passion for mentoring and a true 'you build it, you run it' mindset.
  • Bonus: exposure to real-time analytics, streaming ML, serverless, or LLM/RAG workflows.
