Job Role

The Scrum Master is a vital team member who works closely with the Product Owner to align team efforts with business priorities. They guide the team to deliver high-quality products in short iterative cycles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives and track sprint progress.
  • Help the Product Owner manage the product backlog, ensuring priority clarity, and aligning with overall goals.
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles that could prevent the team from achieving their sprint goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience in implementation.
  • Ability to provide scrum and other agile training to teams.
  • Conflict resolution and removal of impediments in a team environment.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Whiteboard.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Facilitation of collaboration across geographically distributed teams.
  • Certified Scrum Master/Professional Scrum Master/Scaled Agile Framework Certified.
