Global Master Data Governance Specialist

The role of Global Master Data Governance Specialist is critical to the success of our organization's data management strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the OASIS platform, ensuring seamless integration with SAP PCE workflows, and enforcing compliance with global governance standards.

This position requires a strong understanding of master data governance principles, workflow design, and technical knowledge of SAP Customer, Vendor, and Material Master data. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in master data request processes and global governance models, as well as familiarity with compliance frameworks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the OASIS Master Data Governance platform, ensuring system stability, enhancements, and alignment with global master data policies.
  • Defining and maintaining governance workflows in OASIS for Customers, Vendors, and Materials in coordination with domain experts.
  • Ensuring seamless integration between OASIS workflows and SAP PCE workflows.
  • Collaborating with Business Governance and IT Domain Experts to translate governance rules into OASIS technical processes.
  • Implementing governance controls in OASIS to enforce proper documentation uploads, Dow Jones screening triggers, validation rules, and acting as the escalation point for OASIS-related issues.
  • Driving system improvements, automation, and reporting for Master Data requests handled through OASIS.
  • Providing global training and user support for OASIS workflows.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by ensuring traceability and compliance of Master Data requests.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A minimum of 5–7 years of IT experience with a strong focus on Master Data Governance systems.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP Customer, Vendor, and Material Master data.
  • Expertise in workflow design and integration between governance platforms and SAP.
  • Hands-on experience in Master Data request processes and global governance models.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and background in global data harmonization, master data cleanup, and migration initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work with both business stakeholders and IT teams.
