
Administrative Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Compliance Support Professional to provide administrative support to the Compliance Function. This role will involve managing compliance registers, supporting audits, handling data requests, and maintaining up-to-date compliance records in line with higher education regulations and UK GDPR.
Key Responsibilities:">- ">
- Assist the Head of Compliance in the day-to-day management of compliance obligations (OfS, UK GDPR etc.).">
- Maintain compliance trackers and logs (e.g., risk register, GDPR incident log, training completion log, policy review calendar).">
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely submission of statutory returns or compliance actions.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in an administrative or compliance support role (3–5 years).">
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and record-keeping.">
- Strong written and verbal communication.">
- Familiarity with data protection principles under UK GDPR.">
- Competent in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).">
- Understanding of cybersecurity risks and controls, including the importance of breach notification procedures and secure data handling.">
- Previous experience in a higher education institution or public sector will be valued.">
- Awareness of Office for Students (OfS) regulatory framework.">
- Exposure to compliance tools (e.g., OneTrust, SharePoint, Excel logs).">
