The Operations team plays a vital role in the trading process, responsible for ensuring accurate, controlled, and efficient information exchange.

As a Trading Operations Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between desk traders and other dealers, traders, or brokers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting traders with administrative tasks and projects
  • Maintaining trade positions and managing profit and loss (P&L) reports
  • Facilitating information exchange and maintaining exchange compliance and regulatory standards

This role is distinct from traditional trading positions as there is no P&L risk associated with it. You will be expected to have a comprehensive understanding of the trading lifecycle, from execution to end-of-day reconciliation.

You will play a vital support role in a fast-paced and highly intellectual environment, providing critical operational assistance while upholding exchange compliance and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit delivery instructions for proprietary trading
  • Update and manage all exchange trading systems, proprietary trading applications, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintain and manage operational processes according to regulatory frameworks to ensure full exchange compliance
  • Act as a liaison between desk traders and other dealers, brokers, and internal departments
  • Run appropriate desk projects and initiatives to improve Front Office capability
Requirements:
  • Strong academic record from a leading institution
  • Engineering background preferred
  • Mandatory NISM Certifications required before joining
  • ~3-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a trading support or operations role

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, is required. Python or SQL skills are preferred but not mandatory.

Reliable and flexible team player with a positive demeanor, humble and not afraid to ask questions.
