Network Support Specialist

">Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Support Specialist to provide first-level support for our global IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience working with network-related issues.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for network-related issues. This will involve monitoring network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Manage Engine, Cisco Prime, NAGIOS.

In addition, the candidate will perform proactive monitoring of Cisco R&S, HP Aruba, Ruckus Wireless, WAN and ISP links. They will also handle bandwidth utilization analysis and generate availability and trend reports.

Furthermore, the candidate will respond to alerts/notifications configured in monitoring systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for network-related issues
  • Monitor network performance using network management tools
  • Perform proactive monitoring of network equipment and links
  • Handle bandwidth utilization analysis and generate reports
  • Respond to alerts/notifications from monitoring systems

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a global IT support environment
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools and network gear
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN bandwidth and performance monitoring
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Global IT support operations
  • Proficient in monitoring and ticketing tools
