We are seeking a talented and experienced Mathematician to join our organization.

  • Develop, review and execute simulation code to analyze mathematical data.
  • Review mathematical formulas and math sheet information.
  • Develop, review and execute test plans and test scripts for verifying mathematical data.
  • Follow all work instructions on a daily basis.
  • Submit and track any issues found during verification to ensure they are resolved.
  • Utilize all required databases for quality assurance and testing.
  • Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project.
  • Provide detailed completion reports at the end of each project.
  • Interface with other members of Development in order to effectively communicate and resolve all reported issues in a timely manner before the product is released.
  • Advanced understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle.
  • Reproduce issues when necessary in order to assist software development in resolving issues.
  • Responsible for project escalations for each assigned project.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge or experience with mathematical fundamentals (Statistics and probability).
  • Proficiency with analytical and logical skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with C/C++/C# programming.
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge or experience with Python or other shell scripting languages a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Capable of providing input and potential solutions to identified issues.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Capable of working and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task.
