We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced reliability engineer to join our team.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in ensuring the availability, latency, performance, and efficiency of our cloud-based platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and enforce reliability standards across the organization.
  • Lead high-impact projects to improve the overall quality and reliability of our platform.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Eliminate toil at scale by automating recurring tasks and implementing self-service runbooks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 12 years of experience in production operations, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.
  • Deep operational expertise in PostgreSQL, including HA/DR, logical/physical replication, performance tuning, and backup/restore testing.
  • Proficiency in Azure core services, including AKS, Front Door/App Gateway, API Management, VNets/NSGs/Private Link, Storage, Key Vault, Redis, Service Bus/Event Hubs.
  • Experience with observability tools, such as Azure Monitor/App Insights, Log Analytics, Prometheus/Grafana.
  • Proven incident leadership skills, blameless postmortems, and SLO/error-budget governance with change gating.
  • Mentorship and crisp written/verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Apache NiFi, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, or Redpanda.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
  • ITSM (ServiceNow) and on-call tooling (PagerDuty/Opsgenie) experience.
  • Compliance/SecOps (SOC 2, ISO 27001), policy-as-code, workload identity experience.
  • OpenTelemetry, eBPF tooling, or service mesh experience.
  • Multi-tenant SaaS and cost optimization at scale experience.
