Job Overview

Stress Analysis Specialist

This role involves conducting thorough stress analysis of aircraft structures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Utilize classical methods such as ISAMI, GFEM, and DFEM to analyze metallic and composite materials.
  • Extract critical data from part and assembly drawings including loads, stresses, material properties, geometry details, and fastener specifications.
  • Apply relevant design values from industry standards to ensure structural integrity.
  • Create and refine Finite Element Models (FEMs) using geometric data to optimize structure performance.
  • Conduct sizing of primary and secondary structures to meet static requirements.
  • Perform detailed joint analysis and calculate Reserve Factors (RF) for various failure modes.
  • Identify and implement low RF mitigations using classical or numerical methods.
  • Prepare comprehensive stress certification dossiers, including ACD4 and SSR reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with regulatory requirements.
