Lead Automotive Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Engineer to oversee the development of Body-In-White (BIW) structures and components.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Concept Development: Generate innovative BIW component designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
  • Panel Development: Create high-quality BIW panels for the automotive industry.
  • Mastery of Panel Creation: Develop expertise in creating Master sections.
  • Simulation Analysis: Interpret results of structural, static, and dynamic simulations for BIW components.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA), manufacturing feasibility, tooling feasibility, and materials.
  • Process Knowledge: Familiarity with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and stack-up analysis.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong team leadership and collaboration skills.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Passenger Car engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD Software: Strong experience in UG NX, Parametric Modelling, and surface modelling.
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Experience in manufacturing and joining techniques of BIW structures.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to manage project plans and teams.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Co-ordination with cross-functional teams.
