Senior SAP Functional Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will lead a team of functional consultants focusing on custom developments and configuration activities.

They will serve as the primary contact for business and customer stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of business requirements and functional design/testing.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing solutions for procurement and inventory processes.

Responsibilities also include participating in the full-cycle development process from gathering business requirements to post-implementation support.

A key requirement is to prepare functional specifications and test scripts for development.

Additionally, they will conduct system testing integration testing and User Acceptance Testing UAT.

Another essential responsibility is ensuring seamless integration between developers third-party consultants and customer resources.

Furthermore, they will troubleshoot and resolve system bugs and performance issues.

Finally, they will conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to optimize business processes and improve ROI.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with at least 1-2 full-cycle implementations.
  • Experience of managing a team of functional consultants.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Expertise in SAP MM and SD module configurations.
  • In-depth understanding of Order-to-Cash O2C and Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Experience handling custom developments for complex custom solutions.
