Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Testing, Valuation, and Risk Management teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Total 8-10 years of experience in US life insurance, with a minimum of 4-6 years of life/Annuity actuarial modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to drive process improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Excellent communication, execution, and people management skills.
  • Good knowledge of US STAT/GAAP regulations (PBR, NY DFS Reg 213, LDTI DAC).
  • Expertise in Actuarial modeling - Moody's AXIS, including scenario handling, formula tables, override application, and significant switch awareness.
  • Understanding of calculation of AXIS cashflows and reserves on a first principle basis.
  • Proficiency in GGY AXIS modelling software and relevant actuarial concepts and methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Hedging, Asset Liability modelling, and derivatives in Moody's AXIS.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in GGY AXIS modelling software.
  • Excellent coding skills in GGY AXIS modelling software.
