Job Title: Technology Integration ManagerAbout the Role:

This is a senior position responsible for coordinating and executing genotyping, trait discovery, validation, and deployment of marker technology for vegetables and field crops.

The successful candidate will work closely with breeders, genomics, bioinformatics, and pathology teams to analyze trait genetics and assist in the development of molecular breeding tools to accelerate genetic gain.

The role involves implementing molecular markers for routine applications and maintaining high-quality standards in genomics research.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Support the formulation and execution of the strategic Genomics Research and Application plan.
  2. Facilitate the transfer of tools and methods designed to improve breeding efficiency and speed to market.
  3. Execute molecular marker projects in collaboration with breeders.
  4. Contribute to the design and development of molecular markers for commercial traits in vegetable crops and filed crops.
  5. Assist in the conversion from gel-based markers to SNPs and support the development of SNPs, QTL mapping, and WGS tools.
  6. Support the development and implementation of SSR and SNP markers for routine MAA MABC applications, including testing stock seed purity and hybrid seed purity.
  7. Maintain laboratory equipment, records, and protocols to ensure compliance with company standards.
  8. Identify and assess new technologies and partnership opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities.
  9. Participate in research project stages, from conceptualization and initiation to validation and deployment of breeding tools and methods.
  10. Collaborate with breeders to implement new molecular breeding methods and accelerate genetic gain.
