Expert Solutions Advisor

As a seasoned technical expert, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on application security best practices. You'll collaborate closely with the Sales team to design and deliver bespoke solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and workshops for AppScan and AppScan on Cloud.
  • Develop comprehensive responses to technical sections of RFIs/RFPs and address client queries effectively.
  • Guide clients in integrating AppScan within DevSecOps and secure SDLC practices.
  • Partner with Sales, Services, Product Management, and Support teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop reusable technical assets (presentations, demo scripts, FAQs).
  • Conduct partner enablement workshops and provide technical guidance for channel engagements.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, compliance requirements, and AppSec best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or consulting in AppSec or enterprise software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of security testing tools and methodologies (DAST, SAST, SCA, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, Bash).
  • Experience with AppScan or competitor tools like Fortify, Checkmarx, Snyk, Veracode, or Burp Suite.
  • Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and secure coding practices.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and executive engagement skills.

Additional Details:

  • Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid role)
  • Primary Product Focus: AppScan (on-premises and cloud)
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25–30% within India (primarily client meetings and partner sessions)
