Transportation Planning Specialist

Enhance Global Supply Chain Efficiency

Job Description

As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a critical role in optimizing transportation planning processes to ensure seamless product delivery and improved customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and developing long-term supply chain strategies to address capacity issues and production location decisions
  • Supporting business execution of new programs and initiatives, including promotional activities, forecast, and coordination for key events and network redesigns
  • Monitoring key sales and operations planning performance indicators and coordinating cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives

Key focus areas include monitoring service levels of various carriers and modes, reviewing shipments with the TMS core team to identify barriers, and identifying trends in regional areas from a Control Tower perspective.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or above in supply chain logistics or a related field
  • 3-6 years of total experience, with 4 years of relevant experience in TMS, Blue Yonder, FOM, and SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics, including modeling experience, SAP BI reporting, and MS Excel skills
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
