Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Lead Transportation & Logistics to oversee and manage a team responsible for vehicle placement, delivery coordination, and route planning for inter-city trips across India. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of transport operations, and the ability to drive process improvements to enhance cost-efficiency and reliability in distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coordination:

Lead a team managing vehicle placement, delivery scheduling, and post-delivery processes.

Provide daily oversight, support, and guidance to team members to meet operational KPIs.

Transport Partner Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with transporters and logistics partners across India.

Operational Oversight:

Supervise coordination with drivers, delivery personnel, and third-party transport partners to ensure on-time deliveries and proper documentation.

Monitor daily route plans and schedules to optimize transport efficiency and resource utilization.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline transportation operations.

Analyze data to reduce costs, minimize delays, and improve service reliability.

Reporting & Compliance:

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of transport operations and issues.

Enforce compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
