About this opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transport Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our transportation operations. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant transport services while delivering superior stakeholder satisfaction.

You Will:

  • EHS: Promote a culture of safety within the transportation department, ensuring all drivers and Transport team are well-trained in safety protocols and that EHS standards are consistently met.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the transport team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day transport operations, ensuring optimal utilization of fleet and resources. Drive operational efficiency through route optimization, vendor coordination, and cost management.
  • Compliance:
  • Conduct regular audits of transportation work activities to identify compliance gaps and take corrective actions as necessary. Prepare for and lead external/internal audits and inspections.
  • Ensure process management and adherence to laid down guidelines & compliances including regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor transport KPIs, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Provide governance dashboards and monthly performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Perform thorough Risk and Opportunity assessment of the Site Transport Operations. Escalate risks proactively with recommended corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Regular Governance with Stakeholders: Prepare comprehensive reports basis the monthly audits and present key findings to management

The skills you bring:

  • Min 6 to 7 years of experience in the relevant field. Experience of working in a Global environment will be preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Change & Improvement Management Skills with ability to drive operational excellence
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Power Point)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Consistency in delivering customer service excellence with a knack for identifying customer requirement & solutions
